B2 is a sophisticated sushi locale in the heart of Wynnefield Heights. Realizing our corporate client’s vision of a multi-use, high-end destination that is equal parts luxury and convenience, our design provides the perfect range of amenities and dining experiences for business professionals and casual visitors alike. While the main dining area offers a relaxed but sophisticated option, more casual seating at the sushi bar and throughout the space is great for quick weekday lunches or spontaneous drop-ins. A private meeting room is also available for more formal gatherings.

B2 is all about the details. Employing a blend of inspirations, we combined elements of traditional Japanese design with the dynamism of a New York City destination. In the waiting area, a tree-like set piece of wooden panels introduces visitors to our exciting blend of the rustic and chic. The wood screens leading from the waiting area into the dining room are inspired by traditional Japanese houses and perfectly complement the space’s wood-paneled ceiling and floors. Simultaneously, modern sculptural lighting fixtures and a backlit stone bar add a warm but modern glow. Lots of natural light and off-white furnishings make the space fresh and airy.

Behind the sushi bar, a large-scale graphic adds texture and creates the illusion of stone, while suspended above it a row of minimalist sake bottle fixtures put a spotlight on the chefs. From entrance to exit, B2 effortlessly embodies the elegance of the art of sushi, the warm, nutty aroma of a glass of Sake, and the vibrance of a modern upscale dining destination all at once.
